Our purpose is to transform workplace relations in Britain.
Our values help us to achieve this. We are:
- expert – our insight and experience ensures we give the most up to date advice
- impartial – we work with both sides of a conflict, treating them both equally
- independent – we are publicly funded and have been independent since 1974
- fair – a good workplace is a fair one – what we ask of others, we ask of ourselves
Ambitions
By 2030, we aim to:
- prevent conflict by creating healthier employment relations
- manage conflict in the workplace better by building confidence and capability
- resolve disputes quickly and fairly
